1. Privacy Commitment ("Privacy by Design") Water Reminder ("we", "our", or "the App") is built with a strict "Privacy by Design" architecture. We believe your personal health and daily habits belong to you alone.

Key Principles:

• NO External Developer Servers: We DO NOT own, operate, or transmit your personal data to any external developer servers.
• NO Account Required: You can use the App fully without creating an account or providing an email address, name, or phone number.
• NO Data Selling: We DO NOT sell, rent, or share any personal user data with third-party data brokers or advertisers.

1. Local Data Storage & iOS SwiftData All your tracking data is created and maintained locally on your iOS device using Apple’s native storage frameworks (SwiftData / App Group containers).

• What is Stored Locally: Your daily water intake records, custom cup sizes, target hydration goals, wake-up and sleep schedule, streak counters, and notification settings.
• Widgets & Extensions: Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets access your tracking data through secure, local on-device App Group sharing.
• Biometric Security: If you enable Face ID / Touch ID app lock, verification is performed exclusively by iOS on your device. We never have access to your biometric data.

1. Apple HealthKit Integration Water Reminder provides optional integration with Apple Health (HealthKit) to sync your water consumption logs.

• Permission-Based: The App reads and writes water intake data ONLY if you explicitly grant permission through the iOS HealthKit permission dialog.
• Strict HealthKit Data Protection: Data accessed from or written to HealthKit is NEVER stored on external servers, NEVER shared with third parties, and NEVER used for marketing, advertising, or data mining purposes.
• Management: You can revoke or modify HealthKit permissions at any time via iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Health > Water Reminder.

1. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions (StoreKit 2 / RevenueCat) If you purchase a Water Reminder Pro subscription or lifetime unlock:

• Transaction Security: Payment and subscription handling are managed entirely by Apple via the App Store (StoreKit 2). We do not collect or store your billing details, credit card numbers, or real identity.
• Purchases Analytics: We may use privacy-compliant subscription analytics tools (such as RevenueCat) to validate App Store receipts. This service processes anonymized transaction identifiers to unlock Pro features and does not store identifiable personal health data.

1. Local Notifications & Reminders Water Reminder uses native iOS local notifications (UNUserNotificationCenter) to send scheduled hydration reminders.

• On-Device Scheduling: All notification timing logic and dynamic adjustments occur entirely on your device. No remote push notification servers or tracking beacons are used.
• Quiet Hours & Control: Reminders respect your configured wake/sleep window and iOS Focus / Do Not Disturb modes.
